All Senior Activities will be cancelled for two weeks:
The Transit system will still be able to take people to doctor’s appointments and keep their regular schedule.

As per the Superintendent of School Dr. Jan Harris: Dade County Schools will be closed March 16-27. Digital Learning will continue during this time. More information will follow tomorrow. School will be in session Friday, March 13. .

Courts: Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit (Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade & Walker Counties) State of Georgia - makes Declaration of Judicial Emergency. This will have a bearing on our local courts.

Supreme Court
Harold D. Melton, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, has issued an Order Declaring Statewide Judicial Emergency, which is currently in effect until April 13, 2020.The Courts have been directed to provide essential functions and limit all non-essential functions. NOTICE: 2020 Mobile Home Taxes due date has been extended from April 1 to May 1, 2020. You can mail payment to PO Box 349, Trenton GA 30752 or pay online at dadecountypay.com.  We also have a Dropbox on the outside of the Administration building. 4-H activities are canceled through March 27th, 2020. This includes all S.A.F.E. Shooting Sports practices (BB, .22, and Shotgun), poultry judging, forestry club, and gardening club. District, area, and state 4-H events will be decided by state 4-H administration. As information becomes available on these upcoming events, we will let everyone know. We will also be POSTPONING our Bull’s-Eye Challenge. A reschedule date is yet to be determined, but we will announce the date as soon as we can appropriately schedule it.

Important Message from Trenton Telephone Company
Effective March 19 we will be closing our front lobby until further notice. Please call and we will help you over the phone.

There will be no interruption of services due to nonpayment during the state of emergency but customers will need to contact our office to set up payment arrangements.

We offer many ways for you to pay your bill without leaving home. At this time, we ask that you use one of these methods listed below whenever possible.

You can easily pay your bill by mail to Trenton Telephone Company PO Box 216, Trenton, GA 30752. Call our office at 706-657-4367 to make a debit or credit card payment or go online to www.tvn.net and click on the blue link at the top of the page that reads PAY MY BILL.

To help out students while they are out of school, we are setting up hot spots at the following locations for them to use for digital learning. The locations will be Veterans Part (beside the library and jail), White Oak Baptist Church parking lot and New Salem Community Center parking lot. The hours for these spots will be 8 am to 8 pm. The wifi network name will show up on your device as TVNTTC2.4g or TVNTTC5g. There will not be a password required to use this service.
