Any producer that has storm damage to their agricultural operation should complete these forms (highlighted areas) and return them to FSA._____ TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS of the damage NOW______ if the producers damage qualifies under the programs offered as determined by FSA, then FSA can help financially. The program is called ECP. Damage could be fencing, excessive sediment, loss of livestock etc. . .

Storm Shelter Sign


Shelters will open in the following order as needed:

  1. Dade County Elementary School - 306 Wolverine Drive (entrance in 4th grade hallway)
    This will be the first shelter open - the Administration Building and Justice Building will function as overflow shelters as needed.  Please park in the Dade Elementary School Parking Lot across from the Courts Facility. For more information please contact us at 706-657-4111.

  2. Administration Building - 71 Case Avenue, Trenton, Georgia
  3. Justice Building - 75 Case Avenue, Trenton, Georgia (this is also known as the Sheriff’s Office)
  4. West Brow Community Center - 131 Griffin Road, Lookout Mountain, Georgia 30750

    Social Distancing will be enforced.  (Families or those living in the same household may sit together while maintaining a distance of 6 feet from the next person or family unit.) Please check out this link for sheltering guidelines AMS guideline

When Sheltering in place please keep in mind that you might need to be sheltered in place or in one of the County supplied shelters for a while.

Here are some items you might want to bring with you if you need to be in a public shelter: 

  • Face masks (to prevent the spread of COVID-19)
  • Camping Chair
  • Sleeping Bag / Pillow / Air Mattress
  • Bottled Water / Snacks
  • Board Games, Cards, Books, Drawing supplies, Coloring Books and crayons
  • Cell Phone (with charger or extra battery)
  • Flashlight
