We are very pleased to announce that Four Points will be offering a parenting class free to the public in Dade County beginning on Monday July 20, 2020! Participants that complete 16 Nurturing Parenting classes will receive a certificate of completion. The class is scheduled to run from 7/20/20-12/28/20. People can join in any time and attend as many classes as they like, however they will have to join by 9/14/20 in order to complete 16 units by the end if they are needing the certificate. The National Sheriff’s Assoc. has joined with other national law enforcement associations and (OneCOP) in efforts to bring faith leaders, the community, and law enforcement more closely together. The national event, Faith & Blue has been designated to coincide with National Community Policing Week.
DCSO is excited to host and be a part of this idea; community networking with our faith leaders and community members. Now more than ever, the need for law enforcement and their communities support are critical in proactive organizational relationships. A special thanks: Rex Mayo, Director of HandUp Ministries , GA FOP, GA Sheriff’s Association , C.E. Ted Rumley for making this possible.
This is an outdoor event; social distancing and masks are encouraged.

This joint event spearheaded by the Dade County Public Library, is a drive through, family friendly, Halloween event that will be held at the Dade County High School. We will have approximately 20 tents decorated and ready to hand out goodies, in a safe and socially distanced way. Please bring your children and / or family and drive through, see friends, and get candy! We do ask that there are no trailers and that you stay in your vehicles at all times.
